Decadent Snack Foods In The Magic Kingdom

While most guests think of Cinderella Castle and classic attractions like Peter Pan’s Flight and the Haunted Mansion when thinking of the Magic Kingdom, there are also countless snacks and food options to enjoy. There are locations that serve health conscious snacks like fruit and smoothies, but one of the best parts of being on vacation is enjoying a decadent snack. The Magic Kingdom has no shortage of decadent snack foods featuring everything from salty to sweet and sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. Let’s look at some of the most decadent snacks available to binge on in the Magic Kingdom.

Turkey Leg –

Sold at a snack cart in Frontierland along the Rivers of America, guests can usually smell this snack before spotting it. While walking along the pathway, there is a sudden smell of mouthwatering meat being cooked and roasted to perfection. These turkey legs are huge portions and definitely big enough to share with friends or family, but so delicious that guests might want to keep this snack all to themselves!

Dole Whip –

Served up at the quick service counter Aloha Isla in Adventureland, the Dole Whip is a cold and refreshing treat for any day in the Magic Kingdom. Featuring pineapple juice mixed with either pineapple or vanilla ice cream (or a combination of both!), this snack is sweet and has a little fruit in it, so technically guests can reason that they are being a little healthy while enjoying a decadent snack!

Citrus Swirl –

This sort of sister snack of the Dole Whip can also be found in Adventureland at the Sunshine Tree Terrace. Featuring vanilla ice cream mixed with a delicious orange slush, this drink can cool guests down on a hot day in the Kingdom. Once again, it also features a little fruit so we can argue that it’s technically healthy and still totally decadent, right? Be sure to wave to the Little Orange Bird perched on the rafters above the counter while ordering.

Mickey Pretzel –

Usually sold from a snack cart near the Turkey Legs in Frontierland, the Mickey Pretzel hits the spot when guests are craving a doughy and decadent treat. Larger than a normal pretzel, always warm and fresh, and shaped like Mickey himself guests can’t go wrong when choosing this snack option. There is also a cheese dip offered to accompany the pretzel for a small additional cost.

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies –

Located in Tomorrowland next to Cosmic Ray’s Café, this quick service counter location offers up decadent desserts and snacks including classic ice cream, smoothies, and sundaes. Two of the most decadent options available include the Caramel Sundae and the Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Guests will be blown out of this world by Auntie’s decadent snacks!

Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich –

This is one of my favorite snacks in the Magic Kingdom and it can be found at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor located on the end of Main Street across from Casey’s Corner. Featuring two fresh baked and warm chocolate chip cookies with a scoop of any flavor ice cream between them, this delicious snack is so decadent and rich that no guest will want to share! If cookies aren’t your thing, there are also tons of hand scooped ice cream flavors to choose from as well as various sundaes and floats.

Nutella and Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich –

This unique snack can be found at the counter service location Sleepy Hollow, located just over the bridge spanning from the hub to Liberty Square. Featuring delicious Nutella spread over a warm, fresh waffle and topped with fresh fruit including bananas and strawberries, this is a heavenly and decadent snack to enjoy in the Magic Kingdom. A great way to enjoy this snack is by sitting in the nearby little patio and watching guests walk by with a view of Cinderella Castle off to one side.

Candy –

No matter what taste in candy a guest may have, they can find a decadent snack option in the Main Street Confectionary. Featuring everything from chocolate bars to sour gummy snacks to fresh made candy apples there are endless options to satisfy every sweet tooth. So go ahead and binge a little on some of the best candy in the Magic Kingdom!

About Caitlin Kane

Caitlin Kane first started visiting Walt Disney World when she was two years old, and despite spending most of that trip quarantined with the chicken pox she managed to fall in love with the place. Visiting WDW every year since, she especially loves learning all about the history and small details of the parks and eating/drinking her way through the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival each fall. When she's not in Disney, Caitlin lives in New York and spends her time counting down the days to her next trip.
