One of Disney’s Most Popular Events Returns This Year; Here’s How You Can Attend

If you are reading this article, chances are you are a fan of all things Disney! This year is an exciting one for Disney fans as the company celebrates its 100th anniversary since its founding in 1923 with special events, exhibitions, merchandise and more, both in the theme parks, at locations across the country, and even at home.

This year also marks the return of one of Disney’s most popular, and most exclusive events, and we’ve got all the details on how you can grab your tickets to attend. (We also have pricing details, so prepare your wallet for some sticker shock if you’re hoping to attend!)

Destination D23 presented by Lug returns to the Walt Disney World Resort this year bringing with it a weekend packed with exciting events, merchandise, and more that Disney fans are sure to love. This year’s event runs Friday, September 8-Sunday, September 10 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort just steps (or a short monorail ride) away from Magic Kingdom Park.

The event will feature behind-the-scenes looks at the details behind Disney Parks, movies, characters, and more, along with sneak peeks, special guest appearances, live performances and exclusive merchandise fans will only be able to find at this event. As with any D23 event, we expect there to be plenty of surprises in store, too.

D23’s official website also notes that Guests will be able to attend presentations with Disney archivists, historians, Imagineers, Cast Members, and Disney Legends, take in a presentation on Disney Parks with chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, Josh D’Amaro, see highlights from the Disney Archives, and so much more.

Destination D23 also comes with exclusive access to popup shops (via registration) that are only available at this event, including Mickey’s of Glendale, The Walt Disney Company Store, and Ink & Paint Marketplace.

Ready to get your tickets? They aren’t on sale just yet, but they will be available soon and we’ve got the scoop for when to order. D23 notes the following ticket prices and on-sale dates for D23 Gold Members:

General: $329 (+$7 Processing) per ticket
Preferred: $549 (+$7 Processing) per ticket
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET.
