Some of your favorite Disney Parks costumed characters will receive brand-new outfits as part of the Walt Disney Studios’ Disney100 Celebration.
The 100 Years of Wonder event kicks off on January 27 at the Disneyland Resort in Southern California and continues across all Disney Parks worldwide! In fact, each month, Disney will celebrate some of its iconic characters with the monthly “Wonder of…” special feature across its theme parks and Resorts.

First up, Disney will celebrate Mickey and Minnie Mouse at the Disneyland Resort with the opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, in Disneyland Paris with Polka Dot Day, and at the Walt Disney World Resort through specialty merchandise and food items. Of course, 2023 celebrates the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney Studios and the Disney legacy, as represented by Mickey Mouse and his fabulous friends!
For instance, Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the Fab Five will don special outfits as part of the celebration, just as they’ve done in the past for Disneyland’s anniversary, the 50th Anniversary in the Magic Kingdom, and Mickey’s 90th birthday. These include the platinum color scheme and silver, white, and “royal” blue.

Moreover, in addition to Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Pluto, and Goofy, Chip and Dale will also don their new looks in honor of the 100th anniversary. Currently, the group of fantastic friends debuted these Disney100 costumes in front of Hong Kong Disneyland’s groundbreaking Castle of Magical Dreams.
In addition, the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will debut a new statue inspired by Walt Disney’s inspiration to create Disneyland Park while visiting the Griffith Park Carousel. However, similar outfits will likely appear on the characters across all Disney Parks, especially Disneyland, which will be the cornerstone of the exclusive event year-round.
