2023 is set to be a very important year for Disney fans! Disney 100 Years of Wonder kicks off in January to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Walt Disney Company in 1923, and with it will come special experiences at both the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort and other locales across the country all year long.
While Disneyland Park will take on the very fitting role of being the center of the festivities, we have some exciting news to share from D23 for East Coast Disney fans looking to participate in one of the company’s most unique events next year.

Destination D23 (aka D23 Expo-lite) is set to return to the Walt Disney World Resort once again in 2023, allowing fans local to or visiting Orlando, FL the opportunity to be among the first to hear new announcements while enjoying behind-the-scenes stories, appearances by special Guests, and more.
The event will take place September 8-10 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, just steps (or a short monorail or boat ride) away from Magic Kingdom Park. Additional details on what will be included at Destination D23, and how you can make plans to attend, will be revealed at a later date, but that isn’t the only exciting news D23 shared this afternoon…
