We are sad to report that Disney+ actress Kim Mi-soo passed away at only 29.
Kim Mi-soo’s agency, Landscape Entertainment, shared on Wednesday, January 5th, “Kim suddenly left us on Jan. 5. The bereaved are deep in their sorrow at the sudden sadness. Please refrain from reporting false rumors or speculation so that the family can mourn in peace.”
According to Variety, there is no reported cause of death that has been given to the public yet.
Kim Mi-soo, also sometimes written Kim Minu, was in the series Snowdrop, which was released on December 18th, 2021, in South Korea on Disney+ Asia. The series has yet to debut on Disney+ in the United States.
Kim Mi-soo was born on March 16th, 1992. It’s sad that someone so young with so much life ahead of her passed away.
If you have never heard of Snowdrop, here is a description on the Disney+ website:
“In 1987, a bloody man jumps into a women’s university dormitory in Seoul. Young-ro, a female university student who falls in love with him at first sight at a group blind date, takes care of him despite the strict surveillance and dangerous situation. However, Young-ro is shocked to learn his secret. Despite heartbreakingly watching over his first love Young-ro, Soo-ho has no choice but to move according to the command in order to save his teammates and to go back to his home country where his sibling awaits. Young-ro rejects the will of her father and works hand in hand with Soo-ho to save her beloved man and her friends. What will happen to their fate?”
It is unfortunate that the year starts this way and that we also lost the incredible Betty White on New Year’s Eve. This has been a tough couple of years for everyone.
