Goodbye COVID Closures! The Final Disney Resort Hotel Is Now Open

Disney fans, we’ve been together through this long haul… but now… now we have extra special news to share. Goodbye COVID closures! Today, the FINAL Walt Disney World Resort Hotel officially reopened.

Not only does today set a milestone for Walt Disney World Resort hotels but we have also received the fantastic news that character meet and greets are returning very soon. Yes, that means Mickey Mouse is getting an extra big hug from us!

Slowly we’ve watched the Disney hotels reopening to welcome Guests back after COVID closures suddenly hit in March 2020. As Disney Park entertainment such as parades and live entertainment stage shows have been making their gradual return, we can’t help but feel that Disney nostalgia setting in.

Today, March 31, 2022, marks the day of the final Disney Resort Hotel reopening which is Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. With Disney’s All-Star Music and Disney’s All-Star Movies already open, it was just a matter of time before the Sport Resort was put back in the game!
