A major Disney shopping event is returning this week.

Disney fans looking to pick up souvenirs, clothing, and collectibles at a lower price will soon have another opportunity, with one resort preparing to launch its annual summer sale.

Disney parks are not usually associated with major discounts inside the gates. While the company frequently offers deals on hotels, tickets, and vacation packages, merchandise reductions tend to appear less often and are usually tied to specific collections or inventory changes.

In recent years, Disney has marked down merchandise from major celebrations and releases, including items connected to Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary and products inspired by Wish (2023).

The company has also introduced wider vacation discounts. This year, Walt Disney World offered savings of up to 35% at select Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts, alongside discounted ticket options aimed at attracting guests during certain periods.

However, one Disney destination is preparing for a sale that arrives as part of a much larger retail tradition.

Disneyland Paris Sale Begins June 24

Disneyland Paris will begin its summer sale on Wednesday, June 24, with discounts available on select merchandise across the resort.

The event takes place as part of France’s government-regulated sales calendar, which sees retailers across the country participate in two official discount periods each year.

Summer sales typically begin on the last Wednesday of June at 8 a.m. unless the date falls after June 28. Winter sales usually begin on the second Wednesday of January at 8 a.m.

At Disneyland Paris, previous sales have included major reductions on a variety of items, from Disney apparel and accessories to plush toys and other souvenirs.

The sale will take place at locations across Disneyland Paris, including World of Disney in Disney Village, the resort’s shopping and dining district.

Passholders Receive Early Shopping Access

Guests with a Disneyland Pass will be able to shop before other visitors when the sale begins.

The resort’s annual passholders will receive one hour of early access at World of Disney, with entry available from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on June 24. General guests without a Disneyland Pass can begin shopping from 9 a.m.

The Disneyland Pass system launched in 2023, replacing the previous annual pass structure at the resort. Members receive a range of benefits, including discounts that can be combined with certain promotions.

During this summer sale, passholders will be able to apply their usual discounts alongside reductions on selected items, with some merchandise expected to be available for up to 50% off.

The sale arrives as Disneyland Paris prepares for a period of extreme summer weather.

Temperatures are forecast to reach 104 degrees Fahrenheit on Wednesday, significantly above the average June high in Paris of around 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

The resort has already made changes to some outdoor entertainment due to the heat. Disneyland Park temporarily removed most costumed characters from Disney Stars on Parade, with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Olaf continuing to appear.

Several outdoor character meet-and-greet experiences have also been adjusted, with face characters replacing some costumed character appearances.

It remains unclear whether Disneyland Paris will introduce additional measures for guests waiting outside for the summer sale.
