First Look: New Disney World Merchandise Celebrates 50th Anniversary Finale

Have you had a chance to explore the Walt Disney World Resort during “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”? The 50th-anniversary festivities at East Coast Disney Parks and Resorts kicked off on October 1, 2021, but they will soon be coming to an end in spring 2023.

The celebration has brought with it new experiences, including nighttime spectaculars, new details around the Parks like EARidescent looks for favorite Disney characters and the Fab 50 Character Collection of interactive statues, just to name a few.

Along with all of the exciting events and experiences around the theme parks and Resorts, specialty merchandise has been a staple of the 18-month celebration. From the Vault collection, which recreated Disney souvenirs from the Resort’s 50-year history, to new EARidescent clothing and souvenirs, the anniversary collection pieces have been extremely popular with fans.

With the celebration drawing to a close on March 31, 2023, Disney has just revealed a first look at some of the last items to debut specifically for this once-in-a-lifetime event (and yes, they include more NEW spirit jerseys…)

The new pieces are part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Grand Finale Collection, the Disney Parks Blog noted is set to launch very soon in January 2023. Included along with spirit jerseys inspired by the EARidescent color scheme from the event are new hoodies with the official Walt Disney World Resort 50th celebration logo, an Ear Headband, a Mickey Mouse plush, and a new pair of Crocs.

Along with the 50th Anniversary Grand Finale Collection, items from past theme park releases remain available (while they last). Other collections include, the original Celebration Collection, iconic Disney Castle Collection, retro-themed Vault Collection and the high-end Luxe Logo Collection.

Items from the new collection, and a selection of other pieces from the Resort’s milestone anniversary will be available in locations around Walt Disney World and on shopDisney.com, while supplies last. Especially now as the celebration nears its end in just a couple of months, we recommend scooping up any pieces that are must-haves for your own collection.
