Merida, the Princess of DunBroch, from the Disney Pixar animated film, Brave (2012), experienced the moment she’s been waiting for with a Disney fan that joined her for a meet and greet moment at Walt Disney World Resort.

Princess Merida is finally back at Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World! The passionate Disney Princess has a contagious smile and personality that easily grabs the attention of Park Guests just as much as her firey red hair and curls. With her meet-and-greet location in Fairytale Garden in Fantasyland once again open, Disney Park fans can’t seem to get enough of the beloved Princess.

You may remember from Brave that Merida has three suitors that would like her hand in marriage. In all her stubbornness, she goes against her parents’ pleas and refuses to say yes to the gentlemen courting her. Merida does not want to be required to marry… well… until she met a Disney fan named “Hunter.”

That’s right – Hunter! @faartheram took to social media to share, “I think I broke Merida #disney #meridabrave #disneyworld #merida.” And breaking Merida is right! As you’ll see in the video below, she beautifully stays in character but was obviously head over heels for her newfound love.

We love that Merida is instantly drawn to the Disney fan’s (her new suitor’s) hair and muscles. He poses well for her as he looks like he is shooting a bow and arrow to win her heart.

Hilariously, Merida turns almost as red as her hair when she realizes “Hunter” is courting another woman that is videoing the whole experience! The wedding isn’t off, but the two women agree to challenge each other for Hunter’s hand in marriage.
