Neverland fans will be excited to learn that the Peter Pan Meet and Greet has made its way back to Fantasyland. Previously, the lively character could be visited by Guests in Adventureland.

This was due to the fact that Walt Disney World had some changes to make on the map where Peter Pan formerly stood. The colorful mural is located next to a fan favorite ride, Peter Pan’s Flight in Magic Kingdom Park.

Disney updated the mural, which sparked some controversy over the years because of its reference to an Indian tribe. Now, the map has replaced the terminology, which some Guests found offensive, with “Never Land Tribe.”

A Walt Disney World Resort Guest shared a charming interaction with the flying boy who refuses to grow up! In the video, posted by @disneyglennb, Peter Pan can be seen marching up in his iconic green ensemble.

The Guest comically asks if Peter is going back to school like all the other children. After a long-winded explanation, Peter scratches his head and replies that he doesn’t have to go to school because Wendy is already his teacher.

True to his childlike nature, he defiantly folds his hands over his chest and asserts that he will stay in Neverland. The Guest then asks Peter about a job, to which Peter looks startled, replying, “A job! Like grown-up things?”

He humorously replies that if he had a job, it would be to mess with Captain Hook! With a contagious cackle, he mentions that he has to make sure the villain doesn’t stink up the place because, after all, he does smell like a codfish!

The lighthearted encounter continues with conversations about thinking happy thoughts, and then, Peter takes a bow as the video comes to a close. We love seeing interactions like this between Disney characters and Walt Disney World Guests.

Make sure to head over to Fantasyland to check out the updated mural, and hang out with the coolest kid in Neverland!
