If you love blockbuster animation, you’ll want to hit AMC theaters on New Year’s Day for select showings of some of the greatest Disney films in a back-to-back movie marathon spanning almost seven hours!
Despite the popularity of at-home streaming services like Disney+, for many fans, there’s nothing like being able to experience a movie on a theater’s big screen. In fact, half the magic isn’t due to the size of the image or the sound quality alone, it’s the transportive environment a movie theater has, and it’s sharing the screening with everyone else in the audience around you.

In honor of Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder anniversary celebration, AMC theaters nationwide will re-release some of Walt Disney Animation Studios most popular productions, including Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992), The Lion King (1994), and Frozen (2012).
Plus, Guests attending the movie marathon will receive a premium collectible movie poster as a take-home souvenir of their valiant efforts in cinema consumption. Of course, fans will have to be able to withstand six hours and 40 minutes straight of Disney movies! (We assume singing along is optional.)

Though the marathon premiere will span AMC theaters throughout the US, obviously fans can attend an extra special screening at the Disney Springs AMC beginning at noon on New Year’s Day! The popular AMC location often goes above and beyond to add an extra touch of Disney magic.
Moreover, at this AMC, Disney Guests can enjoy in-movie dining, beverages, and even alcoholic fare in addition to the standard theater concessions. In fact, it’s described on the Disney Springs website:
Moviegoers are in for a treat while watching the latest blockbuster—from plush, reserved seating to the powerful image-and-sound technologies provided by Dolby CinemaⓇ. In addition to 2 marketplace concession stands stocked with grab-and-go treats, 6 of the 24 theaters offer a unique dine-in service that serves handcrafted food and drinks right to your seat.
Thirsty for fun? Guests 21 and older can order cocktails before, during or after the show at MacGuffins Bar.
