Disney theme parks may be known for their magic, but sometimes, the reality is far less enchanting. From disruptive guests to unexpected ride malfunctions, plenty can go wrong—even on the most meticulously maintained attractions.
That was certainly the case for one visitor to Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen, who encountered something far worse than a long wait time.
According to The Standard, a Disney guest preparing to board Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs on February 11 made a stomach-turning discovery: their seat was covered in feces.
Initially, some online speculated that the mess could have been chocolate. However, after the guest alerted Disney cast members, they received confirmation that it was, in fact, feces as they initially feared. Fortunately, the ride’s operations team responded quickly, covering the seat with tissue and promptly removing the train from service for cleaning.

While this incident is disturbing, it’s not the first time reports of similar occurrences have surfaced at a Disney park. In December 2024, a guest was removed from Disneyland Park after allegedly defecating on an attraction. Similar incidents have also been reported in Disney resort pools, adding to a bizarre pattern of unhygienic mishaps.
The situation is even more surprising given the nature of Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. The family-friendly roller coaster, which opened alongside the rest of World of Frozen in 2023, is a short and relatively tame ride, spanning just 978 feet with a total duration of 25 seconds.
Many guests were underwhelmed by its debut, citing its brevity compared to what was initially teased in concept art. Even Magic Kingdom’s Barnstormer offers a more substantial family coaster experience.

Despite this, World of Frozen remains a must-visit for Frozen (2013) fans, featuring attractions like Frozen Ever After—a near-identical version of the EPCOT ride—and Golden Crocus Inn, a restaurant inspired by the 2013 film. Guests can also catch live performances at Playhouse in the Woods or meet Anna and Elsa as they roam the land.
A similar version of World of Frozen recently opened as part of Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea, with another set to debut next year at Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be renamed Disney Adventure World). With any luck, these upcoming versions will avoid making headlines for the wrong reasons.
