A family of Disney Annual Passholders with two children in Mickey Mouse-themed clothing sits outside. The children are smiling, clutching Disney treats, while an adult watches them affectionately. In the background, another child holds a large donut and drink.

Annual Passholders are in for another treat. At Walt Disney World, Guests who wish to indulge in an Annual Pass have four options to choose from. Although “The Most Magical Place On Earth,” Disney World can become expensive. As an Annual Passholder, Guests have perks across all four passes. Between perks and the annual rate of the pass, Guests can find this a great option for frequent parkgoers.

The Annual Passes include the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and Disney Incredi-Pass. Common perks include 20% off select merchandise in-store, save on select dining and Resort stays and standard theme Park parking. Depending on which pass you have, some blackout dates may apply, but the highest pass, Disney Incredi-Pass, has no blackout dates. All passes allow entry into all four of Disney’s Parks: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios.

While those are the commonly known terms as an Annual Passholder, passholders receive plenty of other perks for their exclusive membership. Some extras include 15% off at EPCOT Sea Adventures, discounted car rentals, a 15% discount at Walt Disney World Golf, and 15% off at Behind the Seeds. Of course, being an Annual Passholder offers so much more than just the “basic” perks.

Disney World offers limited-time discounts year-round. As Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is happening, Disney is also gearing up for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Additionally, Disney will host Disney Jollywood Nights this year at Hollywood Studios. All three of these events offer a discount to Annual Passholders attending the special events.

If those aren’t enough, Disney has The Passholder Buzz, where Guests can find all the information needed as an Annual Passholder. It offers articles, videos, and more located on the My Disney Experience app. In the same vein as limited-time offers, Disney has rolled out yet another exclusively for Annual Passholders.

Last week, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit magnet was released for Annual Passholders starting September 20, 2023. The next offer is an event specifically for passholders and, ironically, starting on the same day. The Passholder Merchandise Event is taking place at Walt Disney World starting September 20 to September 23, 2023.

Passholder Merchandise Event

Lucky passholders will be able to attend the Passholder Merchandise Event during the times of 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. over the course of the three days. Located in AdventHealth Arena at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, the event will host a virtual queue. Passholders will have to join using their My Disney Experience app, and there will not be a standby queue option.

So, what makes it so exclusive? Other than only being offered to Annual Passholders, these Guests will have early access to purchase new trading pins and Pandora charms. Disney details what else passholders can enjoy, including,

  • Access to a special Pandora charm just for Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders
  • 60% off select merchandise—including select apparel, 50th Anniversary merchandise, Loungefly items, and Dooney & Bourke fashions
  • Photo opportunities to commemorate this occasion
  • Special food & beverage offerings available for purchase

It’s important to note everyone in the party must be an Annual Passholder with valid photo identification as proof. Disney also includes, “Any discounts are for personal use only and may not be used to purchase merchandise with the intent to resell the merchandise; not valid on certain items and may not be combined with any other discount, offer or promotion and subject to change without notice.”

Though some pretty straightforward rules for the event, I can’t help but feel a little FOMO (fear of missing out) as these lucky Guests get to indulge in an exclusive event. Have you thought of being an Annual Passholder for these exciting perks?
