Among these many options include Walt Disney World’s wide array of collectible magnets. So if you, as an Annual Passholder, may have missed the boat on acquiring some of these signature items, including the Orange Bird Magnet, Dumbo Magnet, or the Mickey and Minnie Mouse 50th Anniversary Magnet, you have another chance.

All three magnets will be available this month inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Simply make a reservation and head over to Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures in DinoLand USA. The shop is located near the Dinosaur attraction and sells apparel, toys, trinkets, snacks, and other Disney paraphernalia.

Once you have them, you can go to PassholderMagnets.com and watch them come to life using Augmented Reality.

The Original Annual Passholder Magnets

The Orange Bird Magnet was available last year at Disney Springs between July 5 and August 5. But to claim it Disney World Annual Passholders had to go on a virtual queue and wait for a notification to pick it up.

The exclusive Dumbo Magnet was available earlier in 2023 at EPCOT. Passholders simply had to swing by the Creations Shop and grab their complimentary magnet.

The Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse 50th Anniversary Magnet was available for Passholders last year at EPCOT as well. Originally offered in May, it became available once again in August and September.

The previous offerings of the collectible magnets all had a limited supply, and it’s likely to be the same situation this month. All of the passholder magnets feature the characters in a colorful “D” with the words “Walt Disney World” and “Annual Passholder” written on it.

All three can be snagged at Animal Kingdom – as long as you haven’t already grabbed them!

About Steven Wilk

Steven has a complicated relationship with Disney. As a child, he visited Walt Disney World every few years with his family. But he never understood why kids his age (and older) were so scared of Snow White or Alien Encounter. He is a former participant of the Disney College Program (left early…long story), and he also previously worked in Children’s publishing, where he adapted multiple Disney movies and TV shows. He has many controversial opinions about Disney…like having a positive view of Michael Eisner, believing Return of the Jedi is superior to The Empire Strikes Back, and that Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge should have never been built (at least not at Hollywood Studios). Every year for the past two decades, Steven has visited either Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani or went on a Disney Cruise. He’s happy to share any and all knowledge of the Disney destinations (and he likes using parenthesis a lot…as well as ellipses…)
