Disney World is full of classic rides. After the Park opened in October 1971, many of its original rides still stand. Many of these rides have become Guest favorites and a must to ride no matter how many times you’ve visited the Parks. Disney World comprises Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. Magic Kingdom is home to many of these original, loved rides.
As fans often see, Disney is constantly working on bringing new experiences to the Parks. Like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, something is continually being built or reimagined in the Parks. Similar to closing Splash Mountain, to reimagine the ride, another classic ride is enduring some changes.

Changes at Jungle Cruise
According to Inside the Magic, changes are coming to the Jungle Cruise but not just yet. “A permit filed by Walt Disney Imagineers, Disney has plans to change a portion of Jungle Cruise. The permit filed will allow Imagineers to “install set elements,” which could mean a whole host of different things,” Inside the Magic wrote. It’s also stated that the permit does not expire until November 20, 2026.
The attraction is not yet listed on the closure list, so it’s unclear when any changes may begin to be made. During the holiday season, it is normal for some rides to change to fit the holiday theme throughout the Park. Jungle Cruise is renamed “Jingle Cruise” during the November and December Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
