All You Need To Know About Walt Disney World Club Level

There are plenty of Walt Disney World Resort hotels to choose from when it comes to visiting Lake Buena Vista. With 22 Resort hotels to choose from, there is something for every budget.

For Guests who are looking to stay in a spacious Guest room that has its own balcony and is situated in a Resort that has plenty of amenities, the Disney Deluxe Resorts are the place to stay. The Disney Deluxe Resorts are often part of the Disney Vacation Club, offering larger accommodation options for bigger parties and Guests who prefer to have a home-away-from-home when on their Disney vacation. Generally, Guests staying in a Disney Vacation Club Resort are a Disney Vacation Club Member; however, other Guests can rent points from Members if they don’t plan on using them. This is a great way to stay in Disney Deluxe Resorts at a smaller cost than advertised on the Disney Parks website.

But what if you are looking for an even more exclusive Disney Resort hotel experience? As you can expect, The Walt Disney Company has everything covered. Several of the Walt Disney World Resorts hotels offer concierge-level rooms. Let’s explore what this provides to Guests, and the Resorts that you can stay in to take advantage of this offering.

Which Disney Resorts offer Concierge Level?

Concierge-level accommodation is known as Club Level in Walt Disney World. Club Level accommodation is only available in Deluxe Disney Resorts, with the exception of one Moderate Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The Deluxe Resorts offering Club Level are:

  • Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
  • Disney’s Contemporary Resort
  • Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
  • Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
  • Disney’s Yacht Club
  • Disney’s Beach Club
  • Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

What is included in the Club Level experience?

Guests staying in Club Level rooms in the Walt Disney World Resort benefit from several services. One of the main benefits of Club Level is the access it provides to a private lounge that offers a variety of complimentary refreshments throughout the day.Additionally, the lounge provides seating areas for Guests to sit back and relax in if they wish, or they can take their refreshments back to their Guest room. Typically, the refreshments offered in Club Level include:

  • a continental breakfast
  • mid-day snacks
  • afternoon tea
  • a variety of appetisers and samples during the evening
  • desserts and cordials
  • hot and cold beverages available to enjoy throughout the day
  • alcoholic beverages available in the afternoon and evening

Club Level Guests also have access to an exclusive Concierge desk if they require anything throughout their Disney vacation; from advance dining reservations and reserving tickets for shows such as Drawn to Life or the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue, to tips, suggestions and recommendations of activities to enjoy in the Walt Disney World Resort and surrounding area. Club Level Guests can also use the health club facilities available at their Disney Resort hotel. Guests will also have robes in their Guest room to use when staying in Club Level.

All Disney Club Level Guests are eligible for personalized vacation-planning support from Cast Members. This benefit makes it easier to plan Disney vacation enhancements and Private Disney VIP Tours. While VIP Tours come at a fairly large cost, they provide Guests with their own Disney VIP Tour Guide for at least 7 hours, for up to 10 Guests per group.

Whilst Club Level offerings around the Walt Disney World Resort are of a similar standard, there are things to know that are specific to different Disney Resort hotels. Let’s explore the Club Level in each of the 8 Disney Resorts that this service is offered in.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

This iconic Disney Resort hotel combines Victorian elegance with modern sophistication. Just one Disney Monorail stop away from Magic Kingdom Park, Guests are in for a truly magical time at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Unique to this Disney Resort hotel, there are two different Club Level offerings –  Royal Palm Club and Sugarloaf Club. The Club Level Guests are staying in determines where their Guest room is placed in the Disney Resort. Guests are able to access the Club Level Lounge where their Guest room is located.

The Royal Palm Club Level is located in the main building of Disney’s Grand Floridian. Spread across the top three floors, each offering a seating area for Guests to use at their convenience. Views available from Royal Palm Club Level rooms include: the different pool areas; Magic Kingdom; Seven Seas Lagoon; and panoramic views of the Resort Grounds. As to be expected, a Royal Palm Club Level stay is generally the most expensive Club Level experience on Disney Property. Guest rooms available in the Royal Palm Club Level include:

The Sugarloaf Club is located in one of the outer buildings of Disney’s Grand Floridian. Views available from Sugarloaf Club Level rooms include: the pool areas; marina; or Magic Kingdom. Guests can access the Sugarloaf building by using the exit near Grand Floridian Cafe, and walking alongside the Courtyard Pool. Guest rooms available in the Sugarloaf Club include:

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

One of the original Walt Disney World Resorts to open with Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Contemporary Resort is also known for the Disney Monorail passing through it. Guests can retreat to an ultra-modern Disney Resort after a day in the Disney Parks.

Guests are part of the Atrium Club when staying in Disney’s Contemporary Resort Club Level. All Atrium Club rooms are located in the famous A-frame building of the Disney hotel, and offer views of Magic Kingdom or Bay Lake. There are a variety of Atrium Club rooms to choose from when making a reservation:

Disney’s Polynesian Village

Located just across Seven Seas Lagoon from Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Polynesian Village is a truly stunning Resort. Guests can feel like they’re hidden in a tropical oasis, beyond lush vegetarian and grand buildings inspired by the South Pacific. Located on the Disney Monorail, Guests have easy access to EPCOT as well as Magic Kingdom.

Club Level at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is known as the King Kamehameha Club. Club Level rooms are located in one of two longhouses in the Disney hotel; the Hawaii and Tonga buildings. Both are located close to the Great Ceremonial House, as well as the other facilities that the Disney Resort has to offer. The King Kamehameha Club Lounge is situated in the Hawaii building. Views from the King Kamehameha Club rooms vary depending on the building they are located in, but can include: the marina; Cinderella Castle; Seven Seas Lagoon; pool areas; or gardens. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has the following Club Level Rooms available to reserve:

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

When staying in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Guests feel like they’re escaping to America’s Great Northwest every evening. It’s the perfect retreat for nature lovers, as this Disney Resort is surrounded by nature trails, waterfalls and pine forests.

Guests choosing to stay in Club Level at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be part of the Old Faithful Club. Whilst types of rooms are limited at the Disney hotel, compared to others, they offer stunning views of the woodlands, courtyard, pool waterfalls, Bay Lake or interior courtyard. Guests can choose to stay in the following rooms:

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Located close to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is inspired by the grace and elegance of New England. This Disney Resort has plenty of nautical touches for Guests to enjoy.

Club Level Guests in Disney’s Yacht Club are known to be part of the Regatta Club. With several Guest rooms to choose from, the views from them include: the gardens; rooftop; parking areas; Stormalong Bay; or Crescent Lake. Regatta Club Level rooms include:

Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Located right next to EPCOT’s International Gateway, Disney’s Beach Club Resort shares many amenities with Disney’s Yacht Club, whilst providing a more laidback style. The Disney hotel is inspired by the casual and charming elegance of New England.

The Stone Harbor Club is the name given to the Club Level at Disney’s Beach Club. There are plenty of room types available when choosing to be a Stone Harbor Club Guest, and offer a variety of room views, including views of: the Resort Gardens; woods; Crescent Lake; rooftop; parking area; Stormalong Bay and other pool areas; Disney’s BoardWalk; and EPCOT. Stone Harbor Club rooms available are:

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

Guests can experience the charm and whimsy of turn-of-the-century Atlantic City when staying in Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. Guests are ideally placed to access EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, whilst also having all that Disney’s BoardWalk has to offer right outside their Guest room.

Guests become part of the Innkeeper’s Club when staying in Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Club Level. You may need to make a reservation quickly to secure an Innkeeper’s Club room at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn but you’ll be treated to views such as: Disney’s BoardWalk; courtyard leisure pool; gardens; or Crescent Lake. Rooms that are available to reserve include:

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

This magnificent Disney hotel allows Guests to step into the heart of Africa. Located round the corner from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Resort is split into two parts: Jambo House which is the main hotel; and Kidani Village which is where the Disney Vacation Club Studios and Villas are found.

Club Level at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is known as the Kilimanjaro Club. It is the only Resort where Disney Vacation Club Members can use their points to to book a Club Level stay, and even then, its a pretty difficult thing to do given that there are only 10 DVC Club Level rooms available. However, a Kilimanjaro Club Level stay is one of the most affordable Club Level experience on Disney Property, usually having the lowest Deluxe Resort Club Level prices.

Most Club Level rooms in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge have a savanna view, and are located in Jambo House. This is also where the Kilimanjaro Club Lounge is located. The Club Level rooms available to reserve in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge include:

Disney’s Coronado Springs

The addition of Gran Destino Tower to this Moderate Resort allowed for this Disney Resort to offer Club Level to Guests. Whilst we’re aware that Club Level offerings are less compared to the Deluxe Resorts, it’s a great option for Guests who are working on a smaller budget but would still welcome the benefits that Club Level offers. Guests can enjoy unique blends of Spanish, Mexican and Southwest American cultures at Disney’s Coronado Springs. 

Club Level Guests at Disney’s Coronado Springs are part of the Chronos Club. Guests of the Chronos Club will get to enjoy a hotel room in Gran Destino Tower with a variety of views, including: Lago Dorado; the courtyard; parking areas; or Resort landscaping. Chronos Club Guest rooms available to reserve include:
