Fans of Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom Park will be pleased to hear the show will return for multiple dates at the Walt Disney World Resort, with a few changes.

When New Fantasyland opened after extended refurbishment in 2014, the theme park resort debuted the Disney Festival of Fantasy parade on March 9 to great acclaim. According to the Walt Disney World website:
The unbridled enchantment and vivid pageantry of Fantasyland—and its many inhabitants—winds its way through the park in a thrilling parade spectacular. The dazzling mix of floats, motion and original music will keep you humming along for days to come.
However, despite its popularity with Guests, Disney Parks suspended all performances of the entertainment offering due to the coronavirus pandemic restrictions in 2020, and the daytime parade would not return for two more years after Walt Disney World reopened. Finally, Disney announced the parade’s comeback in March of 2022, adding a bit more magic to the Disney Park with this “festival of fun for everyone!”

Once again, Guests will be able to see favorite characters from films like The Little Mermaid (1989), Peter Pan (1953), and Tangled (2010), each with their own parade float, celebrating the “spirit of Disney” in “a tribute of the tales of Fantasyland.” Plus, Disney has confirmed each day, the Festival of Fantasy will now have two performances at noon and 3:00 p.m. so Guests have even more chances to experience the parade during their next vacation.
Currently, the Walt Disney World calendar gives the parade’s first show date as January 1 at the end of the holiday season entertainment like Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, with performances of “Festival” twice a day all the way through February 4. Even so, it’s almost certain the show will remain after this day as part of Magic Kingdom’s long-term entertainment offerings.
