The New Disney World Entertainment You Don’t Need a Park Ticket to Experience

It is no secret that the Walt Disney World Resort is the ultimate vacation destination for kids and families. With rides, shows, and special events that each member of the family can enjoy together, Disney World is certainly a leader in the industry when it comes to family entertainment.

Most of the entertainment at Walt Disney World that would appeal to the whole family, however is located inside the theme parks, with bars and lounges typically making up the entertainment offerings at Resorts and Disney Springs. This week, however, a new kind of family entertainment is coming to Disney World, and you won’t need a Park ticket to experience it.

The Disney Parks Blog shared that the new entertainment lineup will feature several ways for the whole family to get moving together with engaging performers providing entertainment at Waterview Park each week.

The event will feature family-friendly performances kicking off the festivities every Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. offering a fun way for the whole family to let loose together on days when they are “off” from visiting their favorite Disney theme parks.

While some of the performers featured will be totally new to Disney World, you may recognize others from a certain Disney Park. Wassalou for instance, the Afropop band you may remember from visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be one of the acts included in the Disney Springs Kids Club entertainment.

Along with Wassalou, Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a series of jump-rope routines with Flight Crew Jump Rope. On a more musical note, DJ KD Queen will host games, singalongs, and more during the special weekly event.
