“We’re going to Disney!” This should be every child’s dream to hear, right? Well, not so much for Chloe.
Known as the “Side-eyeing Chloe” meme, this one has made its rounds. Chances are you’ve seen Chloe’s meme pop up on numerous social media networks and had a chuckle as it fits in well for many scenarios. But, did you know it came from the news of a surprise Disney trip?

In the video, Chloe is riding along in the car with her family, including sister Lily and Mom and Dad. Dad is driving Lily to school. Lily holds onto her Duffy Bear and attempts to convince her Mom who is videoing that Duffy should go to school with her.
As Mom videos, Dad drives past Lily’s school. Lily chants, “No school, no school…” (something all parents with young children have likely heard). Well, surprise, surprise! Mom announces the family is going to ditch school and instead are on their way to Disneyland!
Lily is beside herself. While it takes her a moment to realize what is happening, she begins to break down into tears with excitement. Meanwhile… here enters Lily’s little sister, Chloe.
Mom pans over to Chloe and catches a moment that little did she know would turn into a worldwide, iconic meme for years to come!
Chloe was likely too little to understand what exactly was going on and it’s surely her sister’s tears and random excitement that had the young girl extra confused.
