A disturbing video has emerged from Walt Disney World Resort‘s All-Star Sports Resort hotel, one of the Central Florida Disney park’s family-friendly Value Resorts. The clip sparked debate about the Value Resort hotels, with some Disney Parks fans calling guests who stay at the budget-conscious offerings “cheap.”

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort is one of three sister Value hotels alongside Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.

All three are some of the most affordable options on Walt Disney World Resort property, besides the campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts are Walt Disney World Resort’s other two Value Resorts, but they tend to be pricier due to room types and access to the Disney Skyliner.

To be clear, the All-Stars aren’t your typical budget motel–they cost an average of $150 per night. They receive the same cleaning services as all Disney Resort hotels and have access to perks like early theme park entry, advanced dining reservations, and complimentary transportation.

Still, some Disney Parks fans look down on the All-Star Resorts for their over-the-top Disney theming and their popularity with athletic and school field trip groups.

Unfortunately, one Walt Disney World Resort guest recently made an unwanted discovery at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. Instagram user @melissainthemagic recently shared this video of a discarded thong on the ground outside a hotel room:

Laugh. It’s funny. But in all seriousness. Any Disney Resort is magical. Some just less than others in my opinion 🤭😅

Some Disney Parks fans took the opportunity to slam Disney’s All-Star Resorts.

“You stay at a cheap resort, you get cheap results,” @councilwoman.13 wrote.

“Thanks for letting me know I should spend the extra money on a better resort,” said @madhattermaryjane.

Others defended the Value Resort hotels.

“They’re all magical when you can afford to stay there!” @alexislovesmagic commented. “I’m just happy to be in the bubble!”

Most just found the clip funny but didn’t see it as an accurate reflection of the quality of this Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

“The all star resorts are in a league of their own,” @laurenlucosh joked.

“That they are,” @melissainthemagic replied. “It’s like Vegas for kids lol and apparently adults now.”

  1. In an attempt to save money, my daughter chose All Star Sports resort to stay with her children. I stayed at the Beach Club except for the last night due to a booking conflict. My daughter didn’t mention any problems with the value resort, but my grandchildren did, stating the bathroom in my beach club room was larger than theirs entire room. I didn’t think much about their comments until I stayed the last night at the Sports Resort. My room was totally unacceptable. The carpet was soaked. The sink faucet was so loose, I was afraid it would fall off. Several other items were is disrepair. Some kind of brown liquid had run down the door. I was afraid to sleep in the sheets! Walt Disney is rolling in his grave. I understand you get what you pay for but there is no excuse for a filthy room, regardless of price. I swore then that I would never let my family stay in these resorts again. If we can’t afford to pay to stay in moderate or deluxe resorts, we won’t go. On a side note: We stayed in a cars family suite at the art of animation and it was clean and comfortable.
