An incident at Walt Disney World Resort left guests shocked and furious after a VIP experience took an unexpected turn. The mother and daughter, who invested approximately $4,300 for a Walt Disney World Resort VIP tour, found themselves being kicked out of EPCOT.
Unfortunately, the events leading to their ejection remain an area of contention. It was reported that the Disney Park guests initially enjoyed the personalized service and exclusive access, but things escalated when an altercation occurred with Disney cast members. As tensions rose, security personnel intervened, ultimately removing the pair from the park.
The story went viral on TikTok when the daughter (@shesfamousadjacent) shared this video of herself and her mother recounting their experience of getting kicked out of the Walt Disney World Resort theme park:
@shesfamousadjacent has this happened to anyone else? or just us? 😭😭 #shesfamousadjacent #disney #disneyparks #disneyland #disneyworld
“I spent all this money,” the mother said. “This is unbelievable.”
The guests said they walked to The Land Pavilion after riding Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. They ate a churro and a pretzel, which they said was the only food included in their VIP Tour.
Then, the family headed to one of The Land’s attractions, Soarin’ Around the World or Living with the Land (they didn’t specify). This is where the story takes a confusing turn.
The daughter claimed that Disney cast members stopped her mother at a metal detector before entering the ride. Her mother’s eyeglasses case allegedly set off the security system, but she refused to give up the case because she needed the glasses inside.
However, Walt Disney World Resort doesn’t use metal detectors before any of its rides at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests only go through one security checkpoint at the front of the Disney park.
Nevertheless, the guests say this started their argument with Disney cast members. The daughter claimed she wasn’t “irate” until security cast members appeared. The mother said the security cast members kept telling them to “step back.”
It’s unclear what the final straw was, but security kicked the guests out of Walt Disney World Resort. The TikToker shared this clip of a cast member escorting them out of EPCOT:
@shesfamousadjacent Replying to @caro ♈︎ “omg she really did get escorted out 😱” #shesfamousadjacent #disney
“You made us spend so much money, and then you kicked us out,” she concluded. “…I don’t even have words for this situation.”

This is totally fake. Her #shestotallyfamous. you have her what she wanted. The walk out is from a different time. There are decorations at the front of the park. Plus there are no metal detectors. If you wanted more views, I guess it worked for you. They didn’t even know what park they were at.
Totally bogus
Looks more like a scene from Real Housewives of New Jersey. If you don’t know where you are then you weren’t really there. Where’s this so called food court and so called metal detectors?. Plus you don’t sound like you have $400 much less $4000!…go away
So, I’m going to guess she’s talking about Soarin’ because they do have something resembling a metal detector as you enter the rode. But it is NOT a metal detector. We’re missing a piece of the puzzle there. And how did you NOT know that you had to buy park tickets to get INTO the park? The VIP service is to gain faster access to rides and food, NOT to get in the park. They’re both acting like fools in the video in the hotel room.
They admitted they made the entire video story up. It should be removed from this website. Don’t support such fake info.
Metal detectors in pavilions? Apparently just looking for sympathy and an excuse to sue Disney. They are scammers to the max
