Over the weekend, Walt Disney World Resort guests observed yet another boat sinking on the Living with the Land attraction. This is the third recorded incident on the EPCOT attraction in less than a month.
Two Boats Sink On Living with the Land

The first recorded incident on Living with the Land occurred on October 31, 2025. Two TikTok videos went viral showing different views of a boat taking on water on the EPCOT attraction. Guests on board the boat attempted to tip it back and forth to redistribute the weight, but jumped off when their attempts were unsuccessful.
Later, on November 18, another boat sank on Living with the Land, soaking guests who were sitting on the affected ride vehicle. This time, Disney cast members arrived in time to evacuate the guests on board. Everyone was given vouchers for new (dry) shoes and complimentary Lightning Lane passes to either return to Living with the Land or experience another EPCOT attraction without waiting in line.
After these incidents occurred, Disney cast members shut down Living with the Land and evacuated everyone from the attraction, including those in unaffected boats. The ride reopened shortly after the evacuation in both cases.
Another Issue on the EPCOT Attraction

Over the weekend, yet another boat began sinking on Living with the Land. TikTok user @beka027mmp shared this video, taken from the attraction vehicle behind the one that was tilting dangerously close to the water. “Living with the Land boat might be going down,” the Disney Park guest wrote.
This time, guests didn’t need to evacuate Living with the Land, though the guest said the issue “looked worse in person.”
In the comments, several current and former Walt Disney World Resort cast members confirmed that the boat wasn’t functioning correctly.

“The boat shouldn’t be that low down… -A former land cast [member],” @marthaemmewade wrote.
Several commenters shared their similar experiences on other boat rides at Walt Disney World Resort.
“It felt like this was gona happen to me two weeks ago and we were the only boat out😂 no boats in front of behind us. It was very weird,” @rileyyyyyyyyyyyy89 commented.

“This just happened to us on pirates,” said @superfund_. “Exact same issue. Boat overfilled w adults and we started bumping and leaning to the right. They even sent us down the drop and the boat behind us slammed into us and sent water over us.”
Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t issued any public statements about the recent technical issues on Living with the Land. The EPCOT attraction had reopened and was operating normally at the time of this article’s publication.
