Today is the day! ? Enjoy these delicious new eats and treats now available at Magic Kingdom Park in celebration of #DisneyWorld50!
The first delectable item has some ghostly appeal. Sleepy Hollow Refreshments is offering a Chilling Chamber Push Pop. The treat contains chocolate crumbs, cherry buttercream, and dark chocolate pearls, complete with a famous stretching portrait from Disney’s Haunted Mansion attraction.
Over at Pinocchio Village Haus, Guests can find a new orange and almond tart. The tart is topped with a white chocolate medallion resembling the “Ma’assalama” sign from “it’s a small world.”
Another “new” item is actually an update to the “Cheers to 50 Years” sundae available at the Plaza Restaurant. The updated version has a “new look and flavors”, but we’re not sure how it differs yet from the ingredients of the old version: Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream, Cookie Crumbles, Brownie Pieces, Pretzel Rods, Hot Fudge, Caramel Sauce, Whipped Cream, EARidescent Sugar, and topped with a Mickey Pretzel.
One of our favorites from the new list is the Donald Duck Dome Cake that debuted at Gaston’s Tavern, adorably resembling Donald’s classic outfit, complete with a sailor hat, red bow tie, and a blue-and-yellow base.
The Always Tea Time Slush is also now available at the Cheshire Café in Fantasyland, and a Mickey-shaped 50th Anniversary Cinnamon Roll will be at the Main Street Bakery on Main Street, U.S.A. It will be “dusted with EARidescent sugar and the 50th Pressed Penny logo.”
At the Golden Oak Outpost in Frontierland, Guests can find the Slue Foot Sue Fish Sandwich, while at Pinocchio Village Haus, there is an amazing-looking Croque Monsieur Flatbread.
And Dole Whip lovers, rejoice! There is a new Crooning Flowers Float at Aloha Isle in Adventureland, a lime and vanilla swirl soft-serve pineapple float with a blue chocolate feather.
With brand-new restaurant offerings like Space 220 in EPCOT as well as the return post-pandemic of favorites like Boma – Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, we have so many incredible dining options now on our next Walt Disney World vacation!
