The Disney World Ticket Trick You’re Going to Want to Know

We all want the best tips and tricks for our next Disney World vacation, particularly with so many changes and new processes introduced lately.

From the new digital Disney Genie service to Mobile Orders and Park Pass Reservations, it seems like a “whole new world” for Guests to master their day in Disney’s theme parks.

Nothing seems as spontaneous anymore, with serious planning and commitment needed to ensure the best possible day at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Bu with Fantasmic! and the Festival of Fantasy parade returning soon, there is no better time to head to Walt Disney World in Florida.

But what about Park tickets? Well, we have a little trick at Walt Disney World that will surely help Guests on their next visit.

The 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World is in full swing at the Orlando Resort, and with it, crowds.

The lines to purchase or activate tickets at the entrance to the four theme parks have been massive recently, with the entrances swamped with Guests trying to get in and ride their favorite attractions.

But here’s the thing – you don’t have to queue at the theme park entrance to activate your tickets!

If you happen to be arriving the day – or even night – before your first theme park day, you can head over to Disney Springs, park for free, and activate all your tickets there!

Conveniently located at Disney Springs Town Center near the Welcome Center and Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza, Disney has a location that will be your one-stop-shop for most of your ticketing needs.

The Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs is open Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

It normally doesn’t have a long wait time, and compliments the next door Disney Springs Welcome Center, where Guest Relations Cast Members are based.

At the Disney Ticket Center, you can:

• Purchase Disney theme park tickets, make upgrades and pick up will call tickets (including special event tickets like the Halloween After Hours party)
• Purchase or renew Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes
• Make Disney Springs restaurant reservations

Furthermore, we had Military Salute tickets on our last trip and they even activated them for us! It meant we were all ready with our physical tickets the next morning and could be one of the first to enter the Park.

So, if you’re looking for a way to save some time and money (if you count wasting precious Park time waiting in line in the morning to activate tickets as “money”), then head over to Disney Springs and get your ticket needs sorted out!

While you’re there, you could even treat yourself to a Ghiradelli sundae, a Lego set, or some Disney merchandise at the huge World of Disney store.
