New Details Revealed for Disney’s Upcoming Grad Night Reunion Event

The first-ever Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion event is set to take place later this month at Disney California Adventure park. This highly anticipated event will offer Guests a memorable throwback to their own high school grad night celebrations with loads of nostalgia and extra Disney magic.

The Disney Parks Blog just shared some new details that Guests can expect to discover at the event, including specialty food and beverage options, entertainment, and more.

The Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion event will take place after-hours on June 23, 28, and 30, 2022, at Disney California Adventure Park.

Recently announced entertainment for the event includes a pep-rally along the park’s parade route featuring Mickey leading the glee club and an energetic performance from Goofy’s dance team.

A 1960s throwback party will take place along Route 55 in Cars Land, accompanied by “Hot Rod,” who will be spinning classic 60s hits in a DJ booth.

Hollywood Land will host a present-day dance party with all the current hits Guests will know and love so they can dance the night away, and Pacific Wharf will offer retro karaoke throwing it back to the 70s and 80s.

No after-hours event would be complete without exciting character meet and greets and photo ops, and for the upcoming Grad Nite Reunion, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Daisy, Chip, and Dale will all be wearing their graduation caps and gowns.

We can’t forget about all the deliciously nostalgic eats Disney will be serving up at this event. A more satisfying twist on cafeteria-inspired foods will be available around Disney California Adventure Park with items at Award Wieners, Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream, Cozy Cone Motel, Pacific Wharf Café, Hollywood Lounge, Pym Test Kitchen, Terran Treats, Schmoozies!, Smokejumpers Grill and more. Mobile ordering will also be available at select locations, so be sure to charge your phone ahead of the event!

Among specialty eats Guests can expect to find is the OG hot dog from Award Wieners, which is a footlong dog wrapped in bacon with grilled onions, mayo, mustard, spicy ketchup and pickled jalapeno relish on a toasted bun.

One of the most jaw-dropping eats at the event is the Cheeseburger Mac Burger from Smokejumpers Grill in Grizzly Peak. This double burger is topped with cheeseburger mac, burger sauce, pickles and cheese sauce and it’s served with crinkle-cut fries. (Maybe share this one?!)

In Avengers Campus, Guests visiting Pym Test Kitchen will find the Stupendous Sriracha & Bacon Pizza Slice, topped with spicy candied bacon and fried eggs, and at Terran Treats they can try the It’s Like a Unicorn Raspberry Cheesecake Ration made with yellow raspberry-flavored spiral churro with cheesecake icing.

In Hollywood Land, Schmoozies! is serving up something sweet with the All That and a Berry Cereal shake aka a classic vanilla shake with crunchy cereal topped with whipped cream and berry cereal.

The sweets continue in Cars Land, with the Cherry Cone-vertible from Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land, featuring vanilla soft serve ice cream in a cinnamon bread cone topped off with warm cherries, and the Bling Bling Cereal Churro from Goofy’s Churro Cart. This churro is a twist on the classic Disney Parks churro that is then rolled in chocolate cookie crumbs and topped with cereal mix and condensed milk.
