A once-bustling transportation hub at Disneyland Paris Resort sits nearly deserted after train service ended in 2023. The Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy station platform remains technically accessible to European Disney Park guests but serves little purpose beyond providing seating or restroom access, creating an eerie, abandoned atmosphere.

Eurostar indefinitely suspended direct service from London St. Pancras International to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy in June 2023. The announcement included suspensions on two additional train lines, though those resumed operations as planned in 2025. The London to Disneyland Paris Resort route has never returned.
European Disney Park guests can still reach Disneyland Paris Resort via Eurostar by changing trains at Lille or transferring to local lines at Gare du Nord before connecting to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy. Both alternatives add approximately one hour to the journey, plus at least one transfer. Eurostar hasn’t announced plans to restore direct service between London and Disneyland Paris Resort.
Three Years of Emptiness

Nearly three years after Eurostar service ended, the Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy platform that once welcomed arriving London trains sits eerily quiet. The platform remains open to the public but sees minimal use from Disney Park guests.
On January 15, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @DLPRescueRanger shared four photos of the abandoned platform, writing:

The images show unused queue lines, blocked train tracks, quiet loading platforms, and shuttered former service counters for Eurostar tickets and Disney Express luggage service. The paid Disney Express program allows guests to drop bags after disembarking and head directly to theme parks while luggage is transported to their Disney Resort hotel.
