Plaza Inn itself, one of Disneyland’s most historically significant restaurants, is expected to continue operating during this period for regular dining, though guests planning specifically around the Minnie and Friends breakfast experience will not be able to book it from August 10 through the return in late September.

For guests with existing character dining reservations at Plaza Inn during that window, the interruption is the most immediate concern. Disney’s practice in these situations is to reach out to guests with affected bookings, but anyone with a reservation between August 10 and late September should verify their status directly through the Disneyland app or by contacting Disney directly rather than waiting to hear.

The pause also affects the early entry benefit that comes with Plaza Inn character dining reservations timed at or before park opening. Guests with those reservations can normally use the dedicated character dining turnstiles on the left side of the park entrance to access Disneyland earlier than standard opening. That perk goes away when the character dining experience is not operating.

What Plaza Inn Character Dining Actually Offers Before You Miss It
