A recent incident at Disney California Adventure Park has led to renewed discussions about alcohol consumption at Disneyland Resort. A TikTok video posted by user @just.another.day21 on July 2 shows security confronting a “drunk” man, with some online speculating that the individual might have been a Disney cast member.

One commenter, @dirty6261, claimed the individual involved was a Disney cast member and suggested that security was trying to help him avoid getting into trouble.

“The guy is a cast member and they were trying to help him keep his job,” the Disney Park guest wrote. “I know cuz I was there.”

However, Disney Tips was unable to confirm whether this claim was accurate.

The video sparked a heated debate among Disney Parks fans in the comments. Many voiced their frustration with alcohol consumption at the parks, with some calling for better restrictions.

“Counterpoint: Don’t over serve at Disney,” @geniusbill argued.

“Why sell alcohol at Disney land ‘place for kids’ in the first place?” @peace_harmony_ asked. “Eventually people are gonna wanna get drunk.”

Other Disney Parks fans, however, felt that the actions of a few individuals shouldn’t dictate changes for everyone.

“These people are grown, they should know how to limit themselves if not get kicked out and banned,” said @whotang0. “It’s time we blame the problem and not punish everyone else other responsible person that can limit themselves.”

“Ppl who over indulge are going to ruin the fun for us all,” @user723024515 added.

It’s unclear whether the guest in question was removed from Disney California Adventure Park or what led to his confrontation with Disneyland Resort security.

Should Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort be more strict about limiting alcohol consumption? Share your thoughts with Disney Tips in the comments!
