Disney100 is the ongoing celebration of The Walt Disney Company’s anniversary. In 100 years, the company has accomplished so much with innovation, animation, and a lot of imagination! To commemorate the big anniversary, Disney is celebrating in different ways. With one-of-a-kind events, meet and greets, and Park decor, Guests are experiencing Disney in a whole night way.
Disney merchandise has been at the forefront of the celebration. What better way to remember 100 years of Disney than with novelty merchandise? Disney released a decade’s collection, dropping a new decade each month. From the 1920s up to the 2010s, characters from all Disney films are appearing.

1970s Collection
The newest collection drop is from the 1970s featuring iconic films and characters. In the 1970s, popular films were ‘The Aristocats’ (1970), ‘The Jungle Book’ (1967), ‘Cinderella’(1950), ‘101 Dalmations’ (1961), and ‘Peter Pan’ (1953). As these iconic films came to life, they are coming to life in a new way; through Disney merch! Guests can purchase magic bands, ears, Loungefly backpacks, pins, and stuffed animals of all these classic characters.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a collection without Mickey Mouse, who appears in “The Band Concert” attire on a Lougefly backpack. Never forgetting “It all started with a Mouse,” the famous Mouse is available with Minnie Mouse as a Steamboat Willie Plush Set. ‘Robin Hood’, ‘Dumbo’ and ‘Pinocchio’ also make an appearance in the collection.
While every item is unique in its own respect, the Loungefly backpacks are wonderfully detailed. As a part of this collection, ‘101 Dalmations, ‘ ‘Cinderella’, and ‘The Muppets’ (1955) all have intricate detail on the backpacks.
