Florida Resident Disney Tickets

The new Disney World ticket comes as an effort by the Walt Disney Company to drive local traffic up in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Many outlets have reported that theme park attendance has decreased over 2023, although the Walt Disney Company has denied this.

As such, Disney did release a four-day, four-park ticket at $396 (). This particular offering allowed park guests to visit one park a day – making one visit to each park during a four-day span.

However, Disney seems to have shocked fans and local residents with a deeply discounted Florida resident ticket.

The new four-day Florida resident Disney weekday magic ticket is only $235. This grants you one admission to each park, one park per day.

The tickets surprisingly have NO BLACKOUT DATES (only weekends) and are available for visits between October 2 – December 22.

The only caveat is that you can only go on a weekday. Although some may consider this a drawback, weekdays in theme parks are usually less crowded. As such, you may have shorter lines, fewer crowds at dining locations, and even a drop in prices for Disney Genie+ or an Individual Lightning Lane.

There are also less expensive offerings at $215 for a 3-day Florida resident ticket and $195 for a two-day ticket. However, they end up being more money per day, if you price it out.

Other Florida Resident Discounts

In addition to the new tickets, Walt Disney World Resort offers other discounts to Florida residents. In addition to being able to purchase select Annual Passes, Disney provides a 30% discount on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels (during the same October 2 to December 25 period).

Guests who take advantage of this offer can enjoy the theme parks’ special Halloween, Fall, and Christmas decorations. However, these do not include admission to special events such as Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween, Disney Jollywood Nights, or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

About Steven Wilk

Steven has a complicated relationship with Disney. As a child, he visited Walt Disney World every few years with his family. But he never understood why kids his age (and older) were so scared of Snow White or Alien Encounter. He is a former participant of the Disney College Program (left early…long story), and he also previously worked in Children’s publishing, where he adapted multiple Disney movies and TV shows. He has many controversial opinions about Disney…like having a positive view of Michael Eisner, believing Return of the Jedi is superior to The Empire Strikes Back, and that Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge should have never been built (at least not at Hollywood Studios). Every year for the past two decades, Steven has visited either Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani or went on a Disney Cruise. He’s happy to share any and all knowledge of the Disney destinations (and he likes using parenthesis a lot…as well as ellipses…)
