RELATEDNew Additions Have Come to the Grand Floridian’s Enchanted Rose

One of the Resort’s signature restaurants is Boatwright’s Dining Hall. This eatery is only open for dinner, offering hearty Southern Louisiana and American dishes.

One of the new entrées includes a classic Lowcountry Seafood Boil. This dish is filled to the brim with Andouille sausage, corn on the cob, potatoes, shrimp, and mussels. It’s all been cooked in a classic, spicy Cajun broth for a taste of authenticity. To top it all off is a toasted baguette.

Next is the Blackened Prime Rib, which has been slow-roasted to perfection and topped with Cajun butter. These lip-smacking ribs are served with seasonal veggies and decadently rich mashed potatoes.

If you want to try a little bit of everything, then you’re totally going to want to order another new addition: the Taste of the Bayou. This platter is described as an “all-you-care-to-enjoy” dish with hickory-smoked pork ribs, smoked sausage, Cajun fried chicken, and barbecued beef brisket.

It’s served with a side of Southern mac and cheese, seasonal veggies, mashed potatoes, and roasted corn topped with more Cajun butter.

Want something other than one of these ultra-hearty dishes? Try this plant-based addition, the Harvest Red Beans and Rice. Dig into red beans, peppers, onions, celery, and plant-based sausage served over Southern rice. It comes with a luscious square of cornbread.

Or give the Peach-Blackberry Cobbler a try. This dessert is full of succulent peaches and berries and is topped with a blackberry sorbet.

Another new addition is the Mississippi Mud Crème Brûlée, which consists of milk chocolate crème brûlée, fresh fruit, and a delicious sablé Breton cookie.

If you want something a little more whimsical, then you’ve totally got to try the Row Row Oar Your Boat Sunday or the Cookies and Milk. Both desserts include a super fun, spoon-shaped cookie.
