Easy and Fun Mickey Mummy Cake Jars

Here is what you need to make this delicious treat:

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups of water
  • Mini chocolate donuts
  • Googly eyes, 2-inch gauze strips, small mason jars, glue

Next are the super easy directions:

  1. Prepare chocolate box cake mix
  2. Pour batter into jars, about ½ full
  3. Bake 8-10 minutes and let cool
  4. Glue googly eyes onto the jar and let dry
  5. Wrap your jar in a 3 foot length of gauze, leaving a gap for the eyes to peek through. Use glue or tape to secure the wrap.
  6. Frost (or pipe) the top of the cake with chocolate frosting
  7. Cut a small, ⅛ inch sliver out of two donuts and place on the edge of the jar
