Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort were in for an unexpected surprise while riding the popular Disney’s Animal Kingdom attraction, Kilimanjaro Safaris. Caution – this video may not be for young viewers!

One of the best experiences in all of Walt Disney World is Kilimanjaro Safaris! The 110-acre open plains, forest landscapes, and wetlands are home to 34 species. The 18-minute expedition is never the same twice as the unpredictable live animals call this attraction home.
So, when one of the Disney Park ride vehicles rode through the elephant territory, two elephants shocked Guests with an intimate moment that shows the reproduction of the majestic creatures is still alive and well!
@cindimariegoestodisney took to social media to share a video while riding Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, noting, “Fun day at DAK! Most of animals where out and pretty busy.” Check out the video below:

In the video, you can hear the laughs of the Guests in the safari vehicle. A child shouts out, “look at the elephants playing.” What’s the most comical, however, is the Cast Member driving the vehicle saying, “Oh, boy,” and “I’ll let you guys explain it.

Disney’s Conservation Program works to allow breeding for endangered animals such as the white rhino and has had much success. From baby rhinos, horses, gorillas, zebras, elephants, and more… we love to hear about the successful Disney baby stories!
When riding Safari ride, Cast Members have no control over what Guests may or may not see while on the attraction. Sometimes animals are extremely active, while other times (especially in the heat of the day), it can be difficult to spot animals as they seek shade. Our top Disney Tip – experience Kilimanjaro Safaris early in the morning or late in the evening for the best time to find active animals at the theme park.
