Fireworks, Parades, and Shows
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is an iconic Magic Kingdom tradition that will be returning for the 2022 Christmas party. The parade is filled with traditional holiday characters like reindeer, Santa, and the toy solders, along with Mickey, Minnie, and of course Santa Claus, himself.
The parade starts in Frontierland and makes its way through Liberty Square around the Hub and down Main Street, U.S.A. And, it will run twice during each night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. (Tip: The second parade is usually less crowded, but you might want to see it twice!)
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will also be back this year. This show lights up the Magic Kingdom with breathtaking fireworks (including perimeter fireworks around the park), state of the art projections and memorable seasonal songs.
Sweets & Treats
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be packed with all kinds of festive treats, both sweet and savory, and the details of those will be released as we get closer to the event.
In the meantime, rest assured that complimentary hot cocoa and cookies at select location around the park will once again be a mainstay of this year’s party nights.

This year’s event will also feature holiday overlays at Space Mountain, the Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, and the Mad Tea Party.
