For years, Disney Guests had the experience to enjoy the Magic Kingdom fireworks from a nearby ferry in Seven Seas Lagoon. This experience has currently been on pause while Walt Disney World Resort worked to refurbish the boats and improve the overall experience.

Ferrytale Fireworks Return
It’s been about three months since Guests had the option to partake in the unique dessert cruise. But this July (in a few weeks), the entire experience will be returning.
The new experience will be costing more than the previous version. The new pricing structure is $130 for adults and $100 for kids ages 3 – 9 (tax and gratuity included). Prior to the refurbishment it was priced at $99 for adults and $69 for children.
Current bookings are now available for dessert cruises beginning July 12.

The Experience
Guests interested in experiencing the dessert cruise meet at the Walt Disney World Transportation and Ticket Center across from the Magic Kingdom Park. Upon checking in, you will be given a beverage and treated to the ferry boat’s crew telling the backstory of the vessel’s magic. This helps set the tone for the upcoming evening’s entertainment.
Once on board, Guests will have the chance to sample select international cheeses and a variety of pastry desserts. Adults can also enjoy specialty alcoholic drinks while children can engage in an ultraviolet scavenger hunt.

When it’s time for the Magic Kingdom fireworks, Guests aboard the boat are invited to slip on Mickey Vision glasses that transform light into the shape of Mickey Mouse’s head and ears. From the ship’s deck, Guests can enjoy a unique view of the nighttime sky over Cinderella’s Castle.
Reservations for the Ferrytale Fireworks Dessert Cruise are strongly recommended. The entire experience lasts about 90 minutes.
