Did you know that some of the most memorable experiences at Walt Disney World are only around for a limited time? Whether its a seasonal event like one of EPCOT’s iconic festivals or a Christmas or Halloween party in the Magic Kingdom, or even an anniversary celebration, some of our favorite Disney experiences are not here for long.
One of the best Disney events (and perhaps the most underrated) is coming to an end very soon, so we’re sharing everything you need to do at this Park while you still can!

Arguably the most underrated of EPCOT’s annual festivals, the Festival of the Arts, is coming to an end very soon, with the final day planned for Monday, February 20, 2023. This festival includes several experiences that are unavailable to Guests throughout the rest of the year, and this year’s event specifically offered brand new (or rather the return) of an iconic EPCOT attraction that you won’t want to miss.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts brings with it several annual experiences like live artist demonstrations, an interactive paint-by-number mural, outdoor kitchens, pop-up shops with pieces by popular artists, and the Disney on BROADWAY Concert Series. This year’s event, however, included more Figment-inspired events than ever before, with Figment’s Inspiration Station inside the Odyssey.
Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey includes nods and restored pieces from the 1982 Journey Into Imagination — including an original Figment animatronic, recreated mural from the load area, projections from the ride, music, and restored pin tables from ImageWorks. #EPCOT pic.twitter.com/CNw8BhWtTQ

At Figment’s Inspiration Station, Guests can order snacks inspired by the original EPCOT character and see pieces of the original Journey Into Imagination attraction that have remained unavailable since the first version of the ride closed in 1998. With this experience being new for the 2023 festival, we will not know if it will be an annual part of the festival of it it will be gone “forever” by next week.
As the festival comes to an end, so does the Disney on BROADWAY Concert Series. This year’s event will conclude with performances by Kissy Simmons (The Lion King) and Josh Strickland (Tarzan) on February 18 and 19, 2023, followed be an extended finale on the last day of the festival, February 20, 2023.
The extended finale, offered for the first time during this year’s festival, will include performances by Ashley Brown, Josh Strickland, Kissy Simmons and Michael James Scott.

While the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts comes to an end very soon, EPCOT’s next festival is right around the corner. Some features of the current festival will be gone until next January, but others (like the outdoor kitchens) will be reimagined for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which kicks off on March 1, 2023.
