2023 ‘Disney On Broadway’ Concert Series to Feature Extended Finale

Disney has released the full line-up for their “Disney on Broadway” concert series during the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and this year’s performance will feature an extended finale!

EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts begins on January 13, 2023, bringing a taste of creativity and culture to the futuristic Park with fantastic special event offerings including food, interactive visual displays, and performing arts spectaculars! For example, the fan-favorite “Disney on Broadway” concert series, an annual tradition at the Walt Disney World Resort during the Festival open to all Guests with General Park Admission.

For those who don’t know, the concert series features some of the best of Broadway performing songs in pairs from over 25 years of masterpiece musicals three times a night on the EPCOT stage. Plus, each duo shares the spotlight, with the line-up rotating every two weeks so that Guests have a chance to experience a huge variety of productions and performers. As Disney describes it:

Get swept away by the songs you love during DISNEY ON BROADWAY performances at EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Sit back and sing along with show-stopping numbers from legendary Disney musicals. Every 2 weeks, we’ll welcome different pairs of DISNEY ON BROADWAY stars to perform some of the songs they helped make famous, plus other sensational tunes.

The 2023 line-up is certainly star-studded, and will even include a special encore performance as part of the finale, extending the concert series until mid-February! Here’s a quick breakdown of just who you’ll spot on the stage and when:

Kara Lindsay & Kevin Massey

Lindsay starred as Katherine Plumber in Disney’s Newsies while Kevin Massey swings in straight from Tarzan! Catch them January 13, 15, 16, 19, and 20.

Arielle Jacobs & Adam Jacobs

Journey to a whole new world with the Princess Jasmine and Prince Ali themselves from the Broadway production of Aladdin on January 14, 17, 18, 21, and 22!

Patti Murin & Robert Creighton

The cold never bothered these two Frozen stars anyways! Anna and the Duke of Weselton will be visiting EPCOT for the first time in forever on January 23, 25, 26, 29, 30, and February 2 to 3.

Mandy Gonzalez & L. Steven Taylor

Taylor featured in The Lion King as Mufasa, while Gonzalez performed in Aida alongside Idina Menzel, in addition to Wicked and Hamilton. You can see them together on January 24, 27, 28, 31, and February 1, 4, 5.

Kissy Simmons & Josh Strickland

Another performer from the Pridelands, Simmons was Nala. In addition, her partner Strickland created Tarzan’s titular role back in 2006, and they’ll both be on stage at EPCOT on February 7, 10, 11, 14, 15, 18,  and 19.

Ashley Brown & Michael James Scott

Brown brought the practically perfect in every way titular character to life in Mary Poppins and you’ve never had a friend quite like Scott, who played Genie in Aladdin. They’ll perform for Guests on February 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 16, and 17.
