This Beloved EPCOT Attraction’s Subtle Holiday Overlay Makes a World of Difference to Fans

In recent years, the ‘ugly holiday sweater’ has made a comeback, becoming a popular way to celebrate the holiday season.

Nowadays, you can find an ugly Christmas sweater almost anywhere, with different characters and symbols decorating them. Sometimes, we even throw ugly holiday sweater parties with the sole intention of dressing up. But we’re not the only ones who dress up for the holidays!

When it comes to the holiday season, Walt Disney World Resort pulls out all the stops. Festive decorations and lighting adorn each Disney Park, certain attractions receive holiday overlays and face characters walking around the Parks donned in gay apparel.

Although Mickey and Minnie Mouse aren’t wearing ugly Christmas sweaters this winter, one beloved character is.

While visiting Walt Disney World’s EPCOT earlier this month, one Guest snapped a photo to share this slight holiday overlay for Journey Into Imagination With Figment.

As we can see in this Tweet, the star of the attraction, Figment, has swapped out his usual yellow sweater for an ugly holiday sweater.

This cozy addition to the attraction has fans raving in excitement. Many fans are hoping that Figment’s holiday sweater will soon be sold in the Disney Park so they can grab one of their own.

If you think Figment’s holiday sweater looks familiar, that’s because the symbol adorning his new look is the icon for EPCOT’s Imagination Pavilion!
