5 Reasons I Think About Disney Almost Everyday

I now live in Orlando, Florida so on a daily basis, I see Disney billboards and commercials, and I hear about it on the local news. I am not complaining at all. I’ve always loved Disney World so it’s a dream come true to pretty much have it in my backyard. Here are five reasons why I think about Disney all the time.

5) The Memories

Some of the greatest memories are made at Walt Disney World. It’s a place to go with family or friends, and it’s going to be a great time. I’ve even met some of my closest friends at Disney, some are cast members and some were just on vacation. It’s amazing how Disney brings people together in the craziest ways. I know Disney will always say that they make memories that last a lifetime, but it really is true. Make sure you take a lot of pictures on your Disney vacation, you’ll be glad you did.

4) Resorts

Walt Disney World has some incredible resorts that you can visit even if you’re not staying there. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge has some amazing animals that you can see just out back. There are trainers out there that will answer any questions that you may have. Around Christmas time the resorts really do it up big, make sure to go to Disney’s Grand Floridian and you’ll see a huge gingerbread house. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before. My all time favorite thing at Disney happens down at Disney’s BoardWalk. Every night from 7 to 10 street performers will come out to entertain the crowds. From jugglers to magicians, Disney only hires the best. Audience participation is part of the fun. All ages will enjoy the shows. It’s all free, which is always a bonus.

3) Escape Reality

When you enter Walt Disney World you truly enter a new world. You’ll enter a land that is magical and where dreams come true. Disney is designed so you cannot see the outside world. I don’t think that anyone can argue that there is no place like Disney World and that it’s definitely one of a kind. Meeting Mickey Mouse is something you don’t get to do everyday and is something you and your family will never forget. You leave the real world at the gate, you can take care of everything else when your vacation is over.

2) Special Events

Walt Disney World has some amazing special events that I look forward to every year. Being a huge fan of Halloween, I look forward to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party the most. Months in advance I’m already checking to see what special events and characters may be available during the party. Other great events that are held at Epcot are the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, Festival of Arts, Food & Wine Festival, and Festival of the Holidays.

1) Restaurants

Walt Disney World has some amazing restaurants. Being a vegetarian it can sometimes be tough to find food that I can have, but not at Disney. They really take special diets into consideration. Many places that have hamburgers can be switched for a veggie burger at no extra cost. Disney will work with you on any special dietary needs that you may have. The atmosphere at the Disney restaurants is always fun and they’re all different. There’s such a large variety of food available, and each restaurant is one of a kind.
