Disney Tips Your Guide To A Great Disney Vacation
Disney has been changing up several listings on its official website lately, and the newest update comes in a delay to the scheduled refurbishment of a favorite Disney’s Hollywood Studios show.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to such memorable live performances as Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage, the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, and Fantasmic, which is set to return later this year.
Another popular live performance for the whole family, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, was originally set to undergo a refurbishment beginning August 22, 2022; however, this note has been removed from Disney’s official refurbishment calendar.

Disney noted that the originally planned refurbishment was for routine work on the attraction, however, we have speculated that it would be to work on the new finale that will be debuting at the show for the holiday season this year.
The original note announcing the refurbishment is still listed on the show’s page of Disney’s website despite the show having been removed from the refurbishment calendar:
“From August 22 to September 9, 2022, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration will be closed for routine refurbishment.”

Disney’s website has a habit of updating the refurbishment calendar ahead of specific attraction pages, so we are expecting that note to be removed later. Since Disney has not announced any change to the attraction, we do not know at this time if the show will close for a refurbishment at a later date. If the scheduled refurbishment was indeed to work on the finale for the holidays then we will likely see a refurbishment on the show later this fall.
