EPCOT’s World Showcase is full of details in each of the 11 pavilions representing different countries around the world. These details are even further enhanced during the Park’s annual events which add an extra layer of festivities to the Disney Park.
Each EPCOT festival comes with new banners showcasing the artwork designed especially for that event. With the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival currently underway, a ‘miniature’ attraction in one of the World Showcase pavilions just got a makeover.
The Germany pavilion features an incredibly detailed miniature model train set that is always a hit for Guests to stop and watch during a stroll around World Showcase Lagoon. The train makes its way down the railroad tracks that span a tiny German village, complete with houses, landscaping details, and gorgeous architecture.
One of the smallest details that adds a fun touch to the miniature train set is the banners that hang from the street polls. Like any downtown area, the banners are changed frequently depending on the time of the year or the event taking place in the Park (you should see the decorations during the holidays!)
@bioreconstruct on Twitter shared photos of the updated banners on the miniature train set all ready for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival:

The banners perfectly match the other full-sized banners Guests can find around the Park during this year’s Food & Wine Festival. The 2022 event kicked off on July 14 and runs through November 19, 2022, with outdoor kitchens located around the Disney Park (including new booths and menu items available throughout the festival), scavenger hunts, photo ops, exclusive merchandise, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, and more.
If you have not visited the Germany pavilion recently, be sure to stop by and check out the miniature train set! This pavilion is also a great shopping destination as the gift shops are packed with holiday decor Guests can purchase year-round, and it is home to one of our favorite World Showcase restaurants with Biergarten.
