Halloween Time Event Oogie Boogie Bash Sells Out in Four Days!

Spooky season lovers may be tempted to turn to the dark side after learning Disneyland Resort’s Halloween Time favorite, Oogie Boogie Bash, has already sold out. One reason for this lightning fast turn of events could be the result of advanced ticket sales for Magic Key holders, who had priority access two days before everyone else.

Tickets went on sale to the general public June 30 selling out by July 3, 2022. Magic Key Holders got a head start, with tickets available on June 28.

Since 2019, Oogie Boogie Bash has been a yearly tradition at Disney California Adventure Park, (with the exception of 2020 due to COVID-19), replacing Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland Park. Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) movie plays a prominent role in the theming of Disneyland Resort during Halloween Time.

With his eerie grin, the bug-filled boogeyman looms over the entrance of Disney California Adventure Park in shadow form.  Over in Disneyland Park, The Haunted Mansion transforms into fan-favorite Haunted Mansion Holiday during the fall season, with a brightly colored Oogie Boogie at the end of the attraction.

Oogie Boogie Bash is a separately ticketed, family-friendly event that takes place on select nights in September and October, and includes some frighteningly fabulous offerings. Along with Halloween-themed entertainment including a Disney villains parade and a Mickey and friends show, there are delicious treat trails, unique character photo ops, and special effects to set a spooky mood.

Fans who missed out on snagging tickets to this event needn’t fear. Purchasing a ticket to the Oogie Boogie Bash isn’t the only way to enjoy Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort. Plenty of festive activities are already included in the price of admission to the Parks.

In addition to creepy overlays on rides, the music and decor are a special treat in and of themselves. Don’t forget to check out the scrumptious snacks as well, with twists on classics such as caramel apples and churros. One taste will send shivers running down your spine!

Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort runs from September 2 to October 31, 2022. Let the countdown begin!
