Jake From State Farm Joins Haunted Mansion to Help

If the gang from ‘Haunted Mansion’ (2023) can’t save the mansion, at least they have this person on their side. Disney’s ‘Haunted Mansion’ is set to come out in theaters on July 28, 2023. Fans of the classic ride, home to Magic Kingdom, patiently anticipate the new remake of the film.

While we wait, ‘Haunted Mansion’ has released trailers, actor sightings in Disneyland, and social media releases leading up to opening day. Now, they’ve partnered with one of the most trusted people to ensure the mansion is safe, no matter what may happen. Jake from State Farm is featured in the newest commercial assisting Rosario Dawson, who plays Gabbie in the film.

The Haunted Mansion commercial is not just a promotion for the film but also in collaboration with the insurance company, killing two birds with one stone. Jake is there to ensure that even with all the ghosts, insurance will always have your back and lend a helping hand.

Ironically, the best part of the ad may not catch your eye the first time. There is a disclaimer written on the screen in small text. Disney Dining writes, “The small text reads, “State Farm does not provide coverage for paranormal events or losses.” I suppose State Farm has to cover itself, ensuring its customers know they cover only things they can physically see. And maybe that’s why Jake ran out so quickly!

The highly anticipated film is based on the Park attraction and is a remake of the 2003 version starring Eddie Murphy. Disney describes the new film, “Inspired by the classic theme Park attraction, “Haunted Mansion,” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.” Fans can watch the full trailer below.
