Keep an Eye Out for This Familiar Float During Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

As the spooky season comes to a close, the Thanksgiving season creeps in. Although upon visiting a Disney Park, you’d be met with nothing but Christmas decorations, seasonal foods can be found across Walt Disney World, some of them only available on Thanksgiving Day.

But that’s not the only way the Walt Disney Company is celebrating the elusive holiday. If you tune into the 96th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, you’re sure to spot an incredibly familiar float with some familiar faces hitching a ride.

Last year, Disney Cruise Line crafted and debuted an entirely new float for the Thanksgiving Day Parade, wonderfully inspired by the Disney Wish cruise ship.

This parade float was full of our favorite Disney characters, such as Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog (2009), Rapunzel from Tangled (2011), Moana from Moana (2016), and more.

During last year’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Disney Wish float was accompanied by Jordan Fisher and an all-new song, “Together We Set Sail.”

It seems as if Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy will be leading the fleet of the same beloved characters from last year’s performance, possibly with some new faces this year. We’ll just have to wait and see!

But according to the Disney Parks Blog, the Disney Wish float will be accompanied by “an all-new performance […] inspired by one of the new Broadway-style shows on board the Disney Wish, ‘Disney Seas the Adventure.’”
