KiteTails Shows Cancelled Friday November 5th

If you are in Central Florida today, Friday, November 5th, 2021, you know the weather is not ideal. It is a cold (by Florida standards) rainy day, and it is not very enjoyable to be outside. Blizzard Beach had already announced that they would be closed on November 5th and 6th. There also will be no Disney KiteTales performances today at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. No word yet if there will be performances tomorrow. On the official website, they still have times, but it still might be canceled if the weather is bad. Thankfully there are plenty of indoor rides and attractions that you can do at Walt Disney World. A rainy day at Disney is still better than most places.

If you have not seen Disney KiteTails, you need to. There are two different shows, so you need to go again even if you’ve seen it once. Here is how it is described on the official Walt Disney World website:

Taking Magic to New Heights

Hearts and imaginations will soar as elaborate, 3-dimensional kites and incredible windcatchers dance through the air to the beat of beloved Disney songs during this high-flying performance at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Be awed by 2 unique, 10-minute shows:

A show inspired by The Lion King, featuring kites of Simba, Zazu and more

A show inspired by The Jungle Book, featuring kites of King Louie, Baloo and more

Watch as the magic takes flight above the Discovery River Theater during the 50th anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World Resort.

This was just one of the additions that were added to Walt Disney World for the 50th Anniversary. There are so many exciting things to see that you need to start planning your next vacation if you haven’t been in a while.
