If you are in Central Florida today, Friday, November 5th, 2021, you know the weather is not ideal. It is a cold (by Florida standards) rainy day, and it is not very enjoyable to be outside. Blizzard Beach had already announced that they would be closed on November 5th and 6th. There also will be no Disney KiteTales performances today at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. No word yet if there will be performances tomorrow. On the official website, they still have times, but it still might be canceled if the weather is bad. Thankfully there are plenty of indoor rides and attractions that you can do at Walt Disney World. A rainy day at Disney is still better than most places.

Animal-shaped kites soar above the shimmering lake at Disney’s Animal Kingdom during KiteTails, delighting guests with vibrant colors and lively motion—the audience enjoys the show, not realizing these dazzling performances ended after November 5th.

The weather app displays 67°F and rain in Kissimmee, FL, with forecasts calling for continued showers and a high of 72°F. As a result of the rainy weather, all KiteTails Shows scheduled at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on November 5th have been cancelled.

If you have not seen Disney KiteTails, you need to. There are two different shows, so you need to go again even if you’ve seen it once. Here is how it is described on the official Walt Disney World website:

The KiteTales blue manta ray kite, beaming with a friendly smile, soars above a boat cruising on a serene lake framed by lush trees—inviting guests to experience the enchanting outdoor magic of the park's adventure zone.
