Disney World is getting a special meet and greet! One of the best parts about visiting Disney Park is meeting your favorite characters. The iconic Mickey Mouse is always the show’s star, along with his friends Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto. But there are so many other classic characters that Disney fans know and love. And would love to snap a photo with, nonetheless.

As Disney is always rolling out new experiences, a new meet and greet is arriving at Disney World that will have fans singing a catchy tune. In Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Guests will get to meet two characters from the hit film Encanto (2021). “Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto,” Disney writes.

The magic running through the family leaves Mirabel alone with no unique gift, yet she is the only one who can save the family and house from danger. Enlisting her uncle Bruno, Mirabel saves the day and shows her strength in her ordinary talents.

Now, Mirabel and Bruno are making their debut together at Magic Kingdom in this all-new meet and greet.

Mirabel’s first appearance at the Park was June 26, 2022. Bruno will be joining the fun beginning on September 15, 2023. He will be a part of the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade with his trusted niece Mirabel. Additionally, Scott Gustin writes, “Mirabel’s casita meet and greet will replace the Merida meet and greet area.”

One fan jokingly commented, “Uh oh…Mirabel better watch out; Merida is a fighter.” All jokes aside, there is more than enough room in Magic Kingdom for all characters to continue meet and greet’s with fans, but Disney has cycled character appearances. Merida may move to another area or be one of the characters that make appearances, making her meet and greet that much more special.
