Magic Kingdom Cancels Showing of Favorite DayTime Parade

Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is back this summer to delight Walt Disney World Guests with its unique tribute to the stories of Fantasyland. The parade has a 12-minute runtime and takes place during the day at Magic Kingdom Park.

Along with themed floats, beautiful costumes, and original music, this cavalcade contains some of our favorite Disney characters. The movies celebrated in the show include Tangled (2010), Peter Pan (1953), and The Little Mermaid (1989).

Some beloved Disney characters involved in the spectacle are Princess Tiana, Merida, Rapunzel, and Maleficent. This popular Disney villain breathes fire in her dragon form as Prince Phillip battles against her with his  Sword of Truth!

Guests planning a trip to Walt Disney World rely heavily on the official website to help them work out the details. With new features such as the Disney Genie service, most of us make our plans on the electronic devices at our fingertips.

With Guests meticulously planning their time at the Parks, it’s essential that information is correct and updated on Disney’s app and official sites. Unfortunately, it seems as if there’s a discrepancy when it comes to the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, at least as it relates to July 24.

The parade’s showtimes are listed as 12:00 p.m. and

In addition, there are no showtimes even listed if you’re trying to plan for dates after July 30. Just a reminder to do your due diligence when setting your itinerary for a Disney trip.

There’s nothing more frustrating than expecting to experience a particular ride or show and then realizing it won’t be possible upon your arrival. Luckily, the other dates in July are all set for two showings of the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, so that’s good news!
