The Walt Disney World Resort is a popular destination for foodies, with the Magic Kingdom acting as a focal point for both classic theme park snacks and new twists on old favorites.
Disney World’s original Park is currently in the midst of several major updates, including the transition from Splash Mountain to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Frontierland and the launch of TRON Lightcycle / Run, which officially opens in Tomorrowland next month.

With the opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run, Disney has surprised fans by announcing that a new snack kiosk inspired by the theming in Tomorrowland will soon be added to the Park, too.
The new dining location, called Energy Bytes will feature futuristic snacks and drinks along with grab-and-go breakfast options for Guests dining in Tomorrowland before setting off for adventures aboard the likes of TRON Lightcycle / Run or Space Mountain.
The breakfast menu at Energy Bytes will include both sweet and savory options like Chocolate Cake Doughnut Holes and Joffrey’s Cold Brew Coffee, with both items topped off with mocha sauce for some extra sweetness.
Lunch will bring more inspiration from TRON with “Digital Dumplings.” Two varieties will be available, including Buffalo Chicken and Beef & Broccoli. The Buffalo Chicken Digital Dumplings come with a futuristic look made up of Blue Cheese Powder and Cayenne Pepper Broth, while the Beef & Broccoli is served with Beef Dumplings, Broccoli Pesto, and Ginger-soy Broth.
As far as quick-service lunch options go in the Magic Kingdom, this Park really does have the least variety compared to Disney’s other three theme parks, with most meals and snacks comprised of classic theme park foods like hot dogs and burgers, alongside flatbread pizzas, and Southwestern-inspired dishes in Frontierland. As such, the new sweet and savory options that come with a variety of flavors will surely be a welcome addition to Tomorrowland.
