Mickey and Minnie Fab 50 Character Collection Sculptures Dedicated to Cast Members

If you’ve ever been to Walt Disney World you know that it would not be possible without their outstanding Cast Members. They are what keeps the Park up and running and help make your vacation so magical. Walt Disney World sees the importance of these amazing people and decided to dedicate the Mickey and Minnie’s Fab 50 Character Collection Sculpture to their Cast Members. President of Walt Disney World Jeff Vahle shared photos on Instagram from the celebration. Here’s what he said:

It’s such an exciting time as we head toward the 50th! George A. Kalogridis and I had a great time yesterday with some of our more than 65,000 Walt Disney World Cast Members when we dedicated statues of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Next week, we will celebrate our 50-year Cast with a special party just for them and also wrap up distribution of the new EARidescent nametags. No better way to celebrate the people who are now, have been and always will be heart and soul of this place!

Our 50-year Cast Members were among the first to get their new EARidescent nametags, pictured all together here before we began presenting them. The rest of our Cast will start getting their nametags next week as we make our final preparations for The World’s Most Magical Celebration!

There are already Fab 50 Character Collection sculptures showing up around the parks. Here you can see some of the photos from Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. There are so many exciting things happening for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World.
