Disney has been making lots of exciting updates to character meet and greets around the Parks and the next one is extra magical!
One of the latest character meet-and-greet announcements is bringing Minnie Mouse herself back to the Magic Kingdom with an EARidescent glow-up just for the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort.

Beginning July 6, 2022, Minnie will be back greeting Guests with Mickey in the Town Square Theater in the Magic Kingdom! Both characters will be wearing their EARidescent outfits designed just for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration.
It is unclear in Disney’s official announcement if the two characters will be greeting Guests together, as they do at the Adventurer’s Outpost in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or if they will be located in separate spots for photos, like how Princess Fairytale Hall operates.

In the past, the two did greet Guests together at this location on the end of Main Street, U.S.A. during Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration. This celebration, which due to the Park’s closure at the onset of the pandemic was essentially the precursor to Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, ran from late 2018 and through 2019.
During the last time Mickey and Minnie met Guests together at Town Square Theater, they wore special outfits in celebration of their 90th anniversary. So even if you were able to meet them back then, it will certainly be exciting to revisit this location during the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World!

Until July 6, 2022, Mickey will continue greeting Guests at Town Square Theater on his own. And while Minnie will not have a meet-and-greet experience in the Magic Kingdom prior to this date, she can be found at Red Carpet Dreams at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and at the Adventurer’s Outpost alongside Mickey in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
